ABOUT
Atelier Radao is an emerging painter based in Paris.
Trained at École Boulle in Paris, where she studied design and architecture, she returned to artistic practice in 2024, driven by a deep interest in art history. Over two years of research, shaped by museum visits, books, and artistic documentation, she explored different movements and artists while gradually developing her own visual language. Certain recurring elements naturally emerged from this process: a palette dominated by primary colors and a graphic, sculptural approach to form.
Alongside her primary visual language, rooted in linearity, controlled gestures, and deliberate brushwork, she has explored a second approach inspired by Action Painting, reflecting another facet of her personality. This exploration gives greater space to movement, spontaneity, and impulsiveness. It allows her to give visible form to the energy within her and to fully engage the body in the creative process.
Though seemingly opposed, these two approaches are complementary and form part of the same artistic language. Primary colors remain central to her work, creating a common thread throughout her different explorations.
Her practice is defined by a consistent and sustained body of work, allowing her to build a cohesive portfolio and progressively assert her artistic identity.
